I’m a baseball fan, though it’s really just a sport that occupies a dead time between college basketball and football. There’s way too many games, they don’t mean that much, and the sport is kind of slow. Beyond that, I’m a Braves fan, and they haven’t been able to make the playoffs the last couple of years. October is fun to watch, but it’s much more fun when you’re used to yoru team being there every year.

Well, my Braves open up tonight against the Nats in their new stadium, and while I don’t think Atlanta is going to win it all (like some crazy people), I am looking forward to seeing a team I think a lot of people are underestimating.

The game’s at 8:00. I’ll be watching. Until then, I’ve left you with the famous Mark Teixeira song, something we’ve all missed during the off-season.
