Many games were rained out, but some were played. Here’s a few of the scores.

Marlins 4, Braves 8: Good to see Atlanta back on the winning track, after losing back-to-back home games against the Nats and the Marlins. Tim Hudson gave up one run in seven innings, lowering his ERA to a 0.86 on the season, and improving his record to 1-0. Chipper and Andruw both went yard for the Braves, who lead the National League with an 8-3 record.

Brewers 2, Cardinals 10: Positive signs for the Cards: Pujols hit two homers, and Braden Looper is looking for real as a starter. After their wretched start, they’re 6-2, and starting to look more like the team that won the World Series last year and less like the team that played the Mets two weeks ago.

Reds 1, Cubs 0: Coming soon: The Youtube video of ol’ Lou’s most recent meltdown. The Cubs are 4-7, Kerry Wood’s hurt again, Alfonso Soriano’s hitting a whopping .234, and everything that can go wrong for this high salary team is going wrong. On the bright side, Cubs fans, Derek Lee is still tearing it up at the plate.

White Sox 1, Indians 2: C.C. Sabathia had 10 strikeouts in 5 innings. Scott Posednik is hitting .303 for the Sox, but outside of him, well, they’re not really hitting (Thome’s hitting .294, and after that it’s quite the drop off). Ozzie said if his team didn’t do well this year, it should be his head. They’re 5-6, and hardly out of it, but they better starting turning the corner.

Yankees 4, A’s 5: As much as I hate the guy, I must admit that Mariano Rivera is pretty damn good. He wasn’t last night, though, giving up three runs in the ninth, allowing Oakland to win, and raising his ERA to a 5.79. In more surprising news, ARod didn’t hit a jack.
