Heat 109, Kings 120: Dwyane Wade scored 26 and Shawn Marion helped out with 19, but at the end it was the same ol’ story for the Heat, who lost their 46th game of the season. The Kings were led by Ron Artest’s 32 points, but he got plenty of help, namely from Kevin Martin, who scored 29, and Beno Udrih, who dropped 23.

Trail Blazers 104, Warriors 110: At one point this season, the Blazers had won 13 straight games, which was the longest win streak this of any NBA team until a couple of nights ago (Houston snapped that streak). The Blazers have now lost 10 of their last 14, and are quickly watching their playoff hopes disappear. Monta Ellis had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors, who find themselves clinging to the eight seed with Denver close behind.

Nuggets 89, Rockets 103: I’m not saying the Rockets are better without Yao Ming, but they may be okay, or at least better than most gave them credit for. Houston held Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson to a combined 36 points on just 14-39 shooting. Tracy McGrady led the Rockets with 22 points, Shane Battier had 20 to go with his spectacular defensive performance on ‘Melo, and Luis Scola had 18.
