Cavaliers 92, Mavs 95: Nowitzki had 24/11/7. Not bad for an off night. LeBron James choked big at the end of the game, missing shot after shot, and Dallas claimed their 14th victory in a row. It’s a long shot, and there’s a lot of basketball left, but if Dallas can finish 21-3, they’ll win 70. Everyone seems to think 21-3 is ridiculous, until you realize that they’re last 39 games they’re 37-2.
Bobcats 90, Trail Blazers 127: It’s not fun to lose any bet, but it’s especially rough when you bet on a team that ends up losing by 37 points. The Trail Blazers had six players score in double digits.
Clippers 75, Supersonics 77: Rashard Lewis had 31, giving him more than a third of his team’s scoring. Elton Brand scored 22 points for the Clippers, in a game that most people snoozed through.
