The Rockets head for No. 23 tonight, and there may not be much better a team in the NBA to go for it against: The Boston C’s.
Boston brings the Big Three into Houston and, even given the recent streak, is actually a one-point favorite in tonight’s matchup. I keep thinking Houston’s miracle winning streak — which has been going since January 27 — is going to come to an end, but every time I call them to lose, they win.
As good as their defense has been, it’s hard to imagine that they’ll be able to come together as a team and stop Paul Pierce, Sam Cassell, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen. My prediction is Boston 94, Houston 92, though I’ll be rooting for the Rockets throughout this — it makes for fun NBA in an otherwise kind of boring NBA.
