I don’t really know how to butter this story up, so I’ll just let you read it. It’s about Amani Toomer and his wife that he’s filing a divorce from.

Giants star Amani Toomer is splitting with his wife, claiming she not only reneged on a pact to have kids with the veteran wide receiver but went so far as to abort four pregnancies, according to bombshell court papers.

There’s a bunch of legal jargon in the middle, and then it picks back up here:

Toomer, 32, alleges his wife refused to have the “big family” they had discussed before getting hitched in a Las Vegas civil ceremony in October 2002.

“This false promise was never delivered,” he charges in documents filed in court.

Instead, Dabrowski “had up to four” abortions “against Toomer’s wishes [and] without his consent,” the Giant claims.

The footballer also alleges that Dabrowski, 34, “refused to change her last name to Toomer,” and won’t cook, clean or take medication to treat her depression.

Oh, there’s more. She shot back at Toomer with some interesting claims of her own.

In her filings for divorce, she alleges “extreme cruelty,” accusing Toomer of being “relentlessly demanding . . . insecure and paranoid.”

The grid great insisted Dabrowski “cater to his every whim and need,” she claims.

And when she didn’t want to have sex, Toomer acted “irrationally and outrageously” – once urinating on her clothes, and another time tossing her BlackBerry into the Hudson River.

She also charges that Toomer, who helped pay for her education, was an overbearing hubby who later insisted she “back-burner” her goals so she could manage his finances, travel with him and entertain his family.

Hm. To summarize this whole thing: Amani married a psychotic woman who apparently doesn’t believe much in this new, crazy and wild prescription also known as The Pill. If she wouldn’t have sex with him, instead of just waiting for her to fall asleep and slipping it in like we all do, he decided to urinate on her clothes and throw her phone away (I’m guessing throwing the phone away was kind of the explanation point after peeing on her clothes; though peeing on someone’s clothes is usually the explanation point).

And the goals she had set that Amani was holding her back from: More abortions.

So we’ve heard, anyway.
