I don’t have a story on this, but the ESPN ticker is reporting that Bill Parcells is retiring. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise to me, except that every year he’s suppoed to retire and never does. Jerry Jones will be really upset about this, and T.O. will be really happy about this, until the next coach comes in and he hates him, as well. I guess the Tony Romo thing was just too much, and Bill decided to hang it up. Maybe Aaron Rodgers should try bobbling the snap of a potential game-tying field goal that could get your team to advance to the next round of the playoffs. Maybe that’s the medicine Favre needs.
I don’t know who the Cowboys will hire as a replacement, but I can bet it’ll be a bigger name than Mike Tomlin, who the Steelers just hired. Anyway, when I get on a story on this, I’ll add a link.
