As Pro Football Talk points out, Jerry Jones passed on Randy Moss ten years ago with the eighth selection in the NFL Draft. Instead of taking the troubled receiver, they took Greg Ellis, who wasn’t a bad pick, but he hasn’t exactly been Randy Moss.

Well, there’s rumblings that Jerry Jones may make an offer at Moss once he hits free agency, and the question is immediately out there: How in the hell would Moss and Owens exist on the same team? The ball hogging would get so bad that one of them would start playing cornerback when the ball was called to go to the other.

Looking back at that draft, one thing that definitely strikes me is Matt Hasselback being taken with the 187th pick (very end of the 6th round). For all the loove Brady gets for going 199, you’d think Hasselback would at least get acknowledged every once in a while for going late and being a pretty big steal.
