Justin Smith, who was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals at the No. 4 overall selection in 2001, is heading to San Francisco in an attempt to clean up a rather terrible defense.

Smith agreed to a six year, $45 million contract, with $20 million of that coming in guaranteed money.

He has more than 40 careers sacks, but notched only two with the Bengals last season.
