It isn’t often that players try to immulate Pacman Jones, who’s currently in alcohol treatment, but Larry Johnson, who’s been struggling on the field, found a way to take out those frustrations on something that’s not a 250 pound linebacker that fights back.

The scoop: He spit on a woman.

Ashley Stewart, 24, told police she had left the nightclub in Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza district but re-entered around 1:45 a.m. to find a friend. Johnson, who had tried to buy her a drink at the same club a week earlier, asked the friend to have Stewart come over, according to the police report.

Johnson got close to Stewart while swinging his arms belligerently, then said, “All I wanted [to] tell you is I’m going to kill your boyfriend,” the report said.

Johnson kept talking to Stewart and spit the drink in her face after she backed away, the report said.

This is the fourth instance in five years that Larry’s been accused of assaulting a woman. The good news for the Chiefs is that they suck and probably won’t miss him. The bad news is they just gave the guy a contract extension after essentially one good year after four years in the league. Herm Edwards really has turned this team around, huh?
