We may know who’s been giving the feds information on the Michael Vick case. Tony Taylor, one of Vick’s old friends, will be plead guilty Monday morning to the charges labeled against him in the dog fighting scandal. Some details:
Prosecutors claim Taylor, 34, found the Surry County property purchased by Vick and used it as the site of “Bad Newz Kennels,” a dogfighting enterprise. The Hampton man also allegedly helped purchase pit bulls and killed at least two dogs that fared poorly in test fights.
ESPN’s Kelly Naqi reported that according to sources, Taylor and Vick used to be close friends, but had a falling out in their relationship about three years ago.
When you’re good enough friends to murder dogs together, it’s hard to imagine what kind of thing could break that friendship up. Maybe Taylor was into the more traditional “hanging” style to kill a dog, while Vick wanted a more contemporary, electrocution method to dispose of the weak.
At least beat the bitch into the ground, ya know?
