If you read my bets from this week, I’ve got the Skins covering against the Giants (’Skins are a four point dog). Since then, I’ve had some second guessing, and even though the spread has actually gone up a half point in favor of the ‘Skins, I’m switching my bet: Giants, at -4.5, is your bet.
It’s not like me to second guess these things, but that’s just what I’ve done today. Jason Taylor is old. Marcus Washington is okay, but not great. They have a pretty no-name linebacking group, and their corners, led by Carlos Rogers, aren’t very fast and aren’t very good.
I think the offense for the ‘Skins will be better this year, but not Week 1 on the road against the Super Bowl champs.
If you bet what I advised, I apologize. Hopefully you’ve left yourself this hour long window and you’ll go with the Giants. Final score prediction: New York 24, Washington 13 (I also like parlaying this with the under at 41).
Enjoy the game tonight.
