The Raiders didn’t exactly make a “splash” with this year’s head coach hiring, but it’s hard to make a splash when your owner is crazy, and anyone that actually takes that job could be labeled the same.
Their new coach? Tom Cable, who served as the interim coach when Lane Kiffin was fired for not wanting to draft JaMarcus Russell. (”He is a great player; get over it!)
Vegas will probably set the odds that Cable makes it through the season. My early projection is 3:1, in favor of the firing. If Al Davis resigns, or dies, those numbers should fall drastically.
