Warren Sapp retired this last week, not causing much of a buzz, because the team he played for wasn’t very good, and, quite frankly, neither was he. But the reason he left, as it turns out, is a bit surprising.

“It was something that was really, really on the edge of like, gay porn. When it’s real bad football, that’s what we call it: gay porn.

Something you just don’t want to watch. Something you just don’t want to see on TV. Something you don’t even want to talk about. That’s gay porn.”

I’m glad to know NFL’ers refer to bad football as “gay porn,” but hate to imagine what kind of video the Dolphins were this year.
