David Beckham has agreed to a deal with the L.A. Galaxy that will pay him $250 million. This came as a shock to me, mainly because I didn’t think the entire MLS made that kind of money, let alone a single team. But then I got to thinking: This could really change how we Americans view soccer. Jim Rome has always had us believe this is a sport for sissies and isn’t worth watching. But now with David Beckham, England’s Greatest Son?

Well, I’m not sure where you stand, but I know I’ll watch the games, simply because the camera is bound to do a few pans towards Victoria, who is smoking hot. And David Beckham is kinda pretty himself. Seriously.
