I don’t have anything to document this, but I did hear it on XM Radio this morning, which means it has to be true: Evidentially, Kimbo Slice’s next opponent will be none other than Ken Shamrock, who was good when I was in the third grade (and that was a long ass time ago).
The rumors are just circling now, but it makes sense. The guy hasn’t fought anyone of any merit since he stepped in the ring, so taking down Ken Shamrock, who was last seen getting his teeth kicked in by Tito Ortiz (who’s no prize himself).
So, we should get another one round victory, and more “Is Kimbo really that good?” questions floating around.
Can we get this guy a fight with the Ice Man? Rampage? Somebody of merit? I’ve watched his backyard fights, and I’ve got the feeling that if he hits someone they’re likely to die. I just want to see if he’s able to hit those guys in the upper echelon of the sport.
