As The Big Lead pointed out to me — and I’m glad they did, because I had forgotten — Kimbo Slice fights on CBS tonight. I’m not sure who he’s fighting, nor does it really matter. This fight will probably last 20 seconds, and if the guy he’s going against makes it a minute than a lot of people will lose some money in Vegas.
Above is some Kimbo highlights, but for all you UFC Kimbo-could-never-hang-with-Rampage type of people, here’s something you’ll like: A clip of him losing.
Enjoy the fight tonight. Blink, and you’ll miss it.

It’s not often that horse racing brings out the best of trash talking, but Big Brown, who’s as dominant a horse I’ve seen since (and given I’ve watched about 10 races in my life, he’s with some small company) and his/her owner are popping off, saying that Casino Drive, who’s thought to be a threat, has “no chance.”
“He’s got no chance of beating our horse,” Dutrow told reporters Wednesday. “I’ll be in the winner’s circle when they get to the quarter pole. That’s how I feel. I don’t see that this horse can beat him.”
It’s hard to take anything like this too seriously, but it is nice to see some passion from something other than the horse that’s being beaten in the backside while it’s running its ass off.

Don’t look for this to happen too often. I’m hardly a soccer fan, but I do like Xbox 360’s version of FIFA, which means I’ll make an occasional post here. And since yesterday was apparently a really, really big game, I’ll post it, even if those really, really big games end in penalty kicks, which would be like determining a winner over a free throw compeitition. Kinda weak.

I can’t tell which one is Rocky and which one is Apollo, but the ref has a striking resemblance to Talia Shire (Adrian in Rocky), who, somehow, actually looks worse than when she was on screen, as evidenced here.

Got it from Deadspin. You can read the story over there. I’m squeamish with these things. All I know is that’s a javelin, and that’s a knee-cap, and that’s a javelin all the way through a knee-cap.

Somehow this kid just comes out with a bruise. The sound of his leg hitting the metal is crashing, which made me a tad surprised it was just a bruise, and not a broken shin. I get an injury like that, I’m out at least six months.

Priceless. This guy saying how the texts went is great.

Completlely un-sports-related, but that’s okay. I’m a fan of Deal or No Deal, as redundant as its become, and this video struck me as pretty funny. I have to admit: Going for a million bucks, I may not realize everything that’s going on around me, but if you put my sister at a certain case, point that case out to me, and then point it out to me again, I’d probably pick up on what was going on. Just a hunch.

You can’t tell what happened to cause this kind of rage, but my God: The guy’s clearly a bit insane.
