I just got home from work, checked The Big Lead, and have come to find out that this picture is the aftermath of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson running from the police, ultimately ending up face first on the pavement and being arrested.

It’s pretty bizarre, given that Rampage doesn’t have much of a history with the law and seems to be a pretty good citizen. Well, seemed to be, anyway.

I don’t know what will come of all this — he’s not famous enough to get let completely off the hook, but he is famous enough to probably avoid major jail time. As The Big Lead points out, the UFC has to be elated that Forrest Griffin just beat Rampage — even if it was a bit controversial — and that their champ isn’t heading behind bars, where he’ll instead be fighting for cigarettes.
